Let's talk Habits, NFTs, and Writing Online.
Hello! 👋🏽
February is an interesting month, it always has been. I turned 19, and my bookshelf is now home to 8 new books! 🎉
The pile of unread books has grown, but I don’t mind. I always keep the books I haven’t read right at the front as a constant reminder that learning is never finished.
This month I learned more about how we can truly remember the things that we learn and the ways in which we can use these to write. More on this towards the end. Let’s review February! 🤍
📚 What I’m reading:
“Atomic Habits”, by James Clear: One of the world's leading experts on habit formation reveals practical strategies that will teach you exactly how to form good habits, break bad ones, and master the tiny behaviours that lead to remarkable results. 🎯
“Where’d You Go, Bernadette”, by Maria Semple: A compulsively readable and touching novel about misplaced genius and a mother and daughter's role in an absurd world. 👀
“Factfulness”, by Anna Rosling Rönnlund, Hans Rosling, and Ola Rosling: A light-hearted but data-rich book that calibrates our view of the world and explains how our cognitive processes can lead us astray. 🌎Leave a commentShare kashvireads monthly wrap-up
🎧 What I’m listening to:
The GaryVee Audio Experience: Hosted by entrepreneur, CEO, investor, vlogger, and public speaker Gary Vaynerchuk. On this podcast, you'll find a mix of #AskGaryVee show episodes, keynote speeches on marketing and business, segments from his WEEKLYVEE video series, interviews and fireside chats Gary has given, as well as new and current thoughts he records originally for this audio experience! 💯
The Ranveer Show, ft Nikhil Kamath: An interesting conversation that touches upon personal finance, BSE, cryptocurrency, dropping out of school, stoicism and so much more. Nikhil Kamath is the co-founder of Zerodha, a bootstrapped startup with a valuation of over ₹7000 crores. He's a financial wizard who dropped out of school at the age of 16 & started trading in the stock market at just 17. He and his brother, Nithin Kamath started India's first online brokerage firm in 2010, Zerodha. 💹Share kashvireads monthly wrap-up

📖 Advice from Books:
👇🏽 What’s the secret to self-control?
According to James Clear, the best way to eliminate bad habits/temptations is to eliminate the cues that trigger them. For instance:If you can’t seem to get any work done, leave your phone in another roomfor a few hours. 📱If you’re continually feeling like you’re not enough, stop following socialmedia accounts that trigger jealousy and envy. 👀If you’re wasting too much time watching television, move the TV out ofthe bedroom. 📺Make the cues of your good habits obvious & the cues of your bad habits invisible. 💡
💭 A quote that summarises this month:
“If you look around your circle & don’t get inspired - that’s not a circle, that’s a cage.” - Nipsey Hussle

A Guide to NFTs, and How They Are About to Revolutionize Pretty Much Everything: NFTs stand for “non-fungible tokens” but trying to understand an NFT through the expansion of its abbreviation is like answering the question “what is an mp3?” with “it’s a MPEG Audio Layer-3.” If you’re interested in crypto, you should read this. 📈
